Perth Children’s Hospital Foundation is the main fundraising body for Perth’s only specialist children’s hospital.
Perth Children’s Hospital Foundation was founded in 1998 as Princess Margaret Hospital Foundation and since then has granted over $65 million to Princess Margaret Hospital for Children.
The Foundation makes all funds raised available to Princess Margaret Hospital and the wider Child and Adolescent Health Service in WA and supports the hospital through five key areas:
1. Medical Expertise
2. Clinical Research
3. Leading-edge Equipment
4. Distraction Therapy and Activities
The Foundation also works hard to promote healthy lifestyle messages to support parents in keeping their children well.
The Foundation changed names to Perth Children’s Hospital Foundation in August 2016 in anticipation of the move to the new Perth Children’s Hospital later this year. While we are already funding initiatives and projects at Perth Children’s Hospital, we will continue to support Princess Margaret Hospital until the day its doors close.
