Schools » North Woodvale Primary School

North Woodvale Primary School opened in 1990 and as a public school has maintained a very close partnership between home, school and the community. We have a current enrolment of approximately 400 K-Yr6 students and 56 staff.

As a staff we believe in the value and worth of every member of our school community and aspire to assist them in achieving their very best. We promote a wide range of academic and personal challengers and extra curriculum activities which allows and cater for a healthy balance of learning and play.

We seek and value parental involvement, inviting you to be involved in the whole academia and social development of your child as much as possible. We ask that if you have any concerns or wishes that you share those thoughts and regularly attend parent information evenings, check homework diaries and generally keep up-to-date with all activities by reading the fortnightly newsletters and visiting the school website. We also invite you to become more involved in the life of the school by attending our P&C (Parents & Citizens) Association.

The quality of our curriculum, teachers and support staff has been repeatedly recognised in inspection reports and Australia wide Literacy and Numeracy Standardised Testing. We also believe that the Arts/Sport are equally as important and therefore we provide many opportunities for students to engage and perform either on the stage or on the sporting field.

Our school is a healthy, living and breathing community. The development of personal relationships is very important at North Woodvale Primary School and therefore we have created a caring atmosphere of good order and opportunity for all our pupils. In this environment we seek to fulfil our aims of Excellence, Opportunity and Respect!
